SHAH ALAM, June 10, (Bernama) -- Saipolyazan Mat Yusop has been appointed the new chief executive officer of the Selangor Zakat Board (LZS), effective today.
In a statement, the board said Saipolyazan was appointed to replace Hussin Mohd Ali who vacated the position in October 2017.
During the period between the respective tenures of the two CEOs, LZS chief coordinator Abdul Basith Hamid helmed the organisation.
Saipolyazan, who has 25 years of experience in management, had worked in several private sector organisations.
His previous positions include head of facility management at Al Borj Facility Management in Saudi Arabia and director of operations, IBEX Group of Companies.

The board expressed the hope that with Saipolyazan’s appointment, the management of zakat in Selangor would be further strengthened.
