MALINDO AIR HOLDS "GET READY FOR 2019" CAMPAIGN
KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 18 (Bernama) – To celebrate an improved on-time performance (OTP), Malindo Air has launched a promotion campaign called ‘Get Ready for 2019’.
In September, Malindo Air’s Boeing aircraft operations recorded the highest OTP percentage of the year at 88 per cent, while the airline’s ATR aircraft operations recorded an OTP of 91 per cent.
Malindo Air chief executive officer, Chandran Rama Muthy, said in a statement today: “We are delighted to see the improvement as a result of excellent planning and great teamwork. This progressive improvement has given our confidence a boost.
“As a premium airline, it is our commitment to stay reliable while meeting the industry standards and providing a pleasant customer experience to our passengers.
“Our flight OTP will also directly affect how well we synchronise with our code-share partners, namely Turkish Airlines and Batik Air, as well as our interline partners.”
An OTP indicator, which will be updated monthly, can now be viewed at www.malindoair.com.
Fares in the ‘Get Ready for 2019’ promotion campaign are available for booking till Oct 21, for the travel period between Jan 1 and Aug 8, 2019.
Promotion fares start from RM99 for Economy and RM419 for Business Class, and are inclusive of baggage allowance and onboard snacks/meals.
Malindo Air currently operates more than 800 flights weekly to 57 destinations in 16 countries across Asia and Australia.
On Oct 22, the airline will be flying to Kolkata, India from Kuala Lumpur, and a new domestic route between Kota Kinabalu and Kuching.
