JEDDAH, Feb 2 (Bernama-SPA) -- The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia received 19.5 million pilgrims and Umrah performers from abroad in 2025, achieving a satisfaction rate exceeding 90 per cent for the services provided, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported, citing the National Centre for Performance Measurement of Public Entities (Adaa).
The record figures reflect the rapid development of the Kingdom’s services for pilgrims and Umrah performers in line with the targets of Saudi Vision 2030, Adaa said.
The Pilgrim Experience Programme – one of the programmes to actualise Saudi Vision 2030 – stated that these improvements covered both the Hajj and Umrah seasons.
The programme also reported satisfaction rates of 91 per cent among pilgrims and 94 per cent among Umrah performers, reflecting the quality of planning and operations, as well as the coordinated efforts of more than 60 entities working in harmony to deliver integrated services.
Moreover, the programme noted that these achievements represent a continuation of the Kingdom’s proud historic honour in serving the Two Holy Mosques and their visitors, under the direct support and guidance of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
They accord the service of the pilgrims and Umrah performers the highest priority and dedicate all resources to enhancing service quality and strengthening the system’s readiness year after year.
