Perlis JPJ Revenue Rises To Over RM29 Mln In 2025

KANGAR, Jan 2 (Bernama) -- The Perlis Road Transport Department (JPJ) revenue increased to RM29.955 million last year from RM27.312 million in 2024.

Perlis JPJ director Noraini Mohd Nawi said the revenue came from various sources, including enforcement collections, vehicle and driver licensing.

“Among the contributors to the increase in 2025 was the implementation of the special flat rate compound payment offer, which ran from Jan 3 to June 30, 2025, for three categories of summonses, and a 50 per cent discount for all JPJ summonses from Nov 1 to Dec 30, 2025,” she said in a statement today.

Noraini said Perlis JPJ also seized 106 vehicles from enforcement actions carried out last year, of which 21 were forfeited by court order and 31 were auctioned.
