PUTRAJAYA, July 8 (Bernama) -- The placement results for 2,248 contract medical officers under Grade UD10 who have been offered permanent appointments through the ePlacement system can be checked beginning today.
Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad said candidates who wished to appeal for a change of placement could do so by filling in a Google Form provided in the ePlacement announcement once the placement results are released.
“The appeal period is open from July 8 at 10 am until July 14 at 5 pm… only appeals submitted with complete documentation within the stipulated time will be considered by the Placement and Transfer Appeals Committee (JKPP).
“Appeals submitted before or after this period will not be considered by the JKPP to ensure that decisions can be announced early without affecting the reporting timeline for duty at the assigned placement,” he said after officiating the 12th National Public Health Conference held in conjunction with the 26th National Institutes of Health (NIH) Scientific Conference here today.
Dzulkefly said appeal results would be announced on Aug 19, and the affected medical officers could check the outcomes through the same system.
“By integrating MADANI values such as Sustainability, Well-being, and Creativity, the Health Ministry is confident that Malaysia’s public health system can be strengthened to meet new realities and future challenges,” he said.
Meanwhile, commenting on a proposal by the Congress of Unions of Employees in the Public and Civil Services (CUEPACS) to implement digital medical certificates (MCs) to curb the misuse of fake MCs among civil servants, he said the ministry was currently reviewing the matter.
