CIDB: ICW-BuildXpo 2025 Returns To MITEC In October After Borneo Debut

KUALA LUMPUR, July 8 (Bernama) -- The 27th International Construction Week (ICW) & BuildXpo 2025 is set to take place from Oct 28 to 30, 2025, at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC), following the ICW Borneo 2025 in Kuching, Sarawak, in May.

The event organisers, the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB), announced in a statement today that the exhibition will feature high-level conferences, specialised forums, technical competitions, and an engaging trade showcase.

In collaboration with Qube Integrated Malaysia Sdn Bhd and hosted by the Ministry of Works, CIDB said that the return of the anchor construction industry event is in conjunction with Malaysia’s ASEAN 2025 chairmanship.

"The event will build on the momentum of the inaugural Borneo edition, which saw over 3,000 participants converge to discuss the future of sustainable and tech-driven development for ASEAN. 

"ICW Borneo 2025 generated estimated sales close to RM48 million at its official trade showcase, BuildXpo," it said.

Held under the theme “Constructing the Future of ASEAN”, CIDB stated that ICW and BuildXpo 2025 reflects Malaysia’s dual leadership as ASEAN chairmanship and the United Nations-Habitat Assembly president for the 2025–2029 term, thereby strengthening its position at the forefront of regional policy direction and global urban transformation.
