KLCI Futures Close Mixed

KUALA LUMPUR, April 22 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed mixed today, in line with the underlying cash market’s softer performance.

The April 2026 contract added 0.5 point to 1,712.00, May 2026 gained 0.5 point to 1,713.00, June 2026 slipped 0.5 point to 1,712.00, while September 2026 was unchanged at 1,691.50.

Turnover rose to 6,661 lots from 5,912 lots on Tuesday, while open interest increased to 39,107 contracts from 38,566 contracts previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI eased 4.94 points, or 0.29 per cent, to 1,710.39 from Tuesday’s close of 1,715.33.
