The AGM also saw the formation of a new leadership line-up to steer the chamber’s agenda in strengthening the role of Malay entrepreneurs and enhancing business opportunities on the island.

Mohd Ismi Farizal Mohamad Ishak was elected as deputy president, while Mohammad Khairul Abdul Ghani assumed the post of vice-president.

The committee members appointed are Azizie Mohd Yusoph, Noridawati Abdul Ghani, Arjuna Yusop, Junaidi Abdullah, Sumiaty Lawa Said, Adnan Talipudin, Mohamad Zulismail Jahri, Mohamad Norizam Mohamad Don, and Hashimah Karim.

Suhaili’s unopposed return reflects strong confidence among members in his leadership, particularly in advancing the chamber’s role in supporting local businesses and promoting economic development in Labuan.
