KLCI Futures End Lower In Tandem With Cash Market

KUALA LUMPUR, April 9 (Bernama) -- FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended lower today, in tandem with the underlying cash market.

April 2026 fell 14.5 points to 1,682.0, May 2026 shed 13.5 points to 1,653.5, while June 2026 and September 2026 slipped 13.0 points each to 1,682.5 and 1,662.0, respectively. 

Turnover eased to 7,521 lots from 7,967 lots on Wednesday, and open interest fell to 40,085 contracts from 41,036 contracts yesterday. 

At 5 pm, the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) declined 10.07 points to 1,686.24 from Wednesday’s close of 1,696.31.
