Project B Appoints William Kim To Lead Global Lifestyle Strategy
KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 23 (Bernama) -- Project B, a global sports platform, has appointed William Kim as Chief Lifestyle Officer to lead its premium lifestyle business across merchandise, brand collaborations and cultural partnerships.
The appointment comes as Project B expands across Europe, Asia and the Americas, as it builds a premium cultural platform that integrates sport, fashion and community.
Project B Co-Founder, Geoff Prentice said the platform is being developed with an uncompromising focus on quality, with collections crafted from natural fabrics and designed and developed in-house to ensure end-to-end control of standards.
“William understands how to build brands that live beyond the game, and his global perspective and design sensibility will be instrumental as we scale,” he said in a statement.
Meanwhile, Kim said the company is building a long-term model designed for the next generation of athletes and fans, beginning with the creation of high-quality products using natural fibres for both on-court and everyday use.
He added that Project B is applying the same discipline and operational control as a luxury house, overseeing design, supply chain, distribution and the overall brand experience holistically.
In his new role, Kim will lead Project B’s global lifestyle strategy, integrating sport, fashion and community into a unified brand identity centred on quality and iconic design. He will oversee the development of high-performance apparel for athletes using natural fibres, elevated lifestyle collections for fans, and brand collaborations linked to host cities and culture-defining partners.
Kim will also shape an artificial intelligence-driven commerce model built for a streaming-first and social-native platform, ensuring product, distribution and brand experience operate cohesively across markets.
Project B said the appointment underscores its commitment to building a global cultural platform that outfits both players and fans with high-quality, natural and responsibly produced textiles as it enters new international markets.
