LBS' Lim Hock San Receives ASEAN Lifetime Achievement Award

KUALA LUMPUR, June 23 (Bernama) -- LBS Bina Group Bhd group executive chairman Tan Sri Dr Lim Hock San has been conferred the Lifetime Achievement Award 2026 - Visionary Business Leadership & Community Excellence at the ASEAN Outstanding Business Award 2026 held in Kuala Lumpur.

The award recognises business leaders whose contributions go  beyond corporate achievements to create social impact, strengthen communities and foster regional cooperation across ASEAN.

“This recognition is not a personal achievement alone, but a testament to the collective efforts of my colleagues, business partners, stakeholders and the communities who have supported us throughout the years.

“At LBS, we have always believed that development is about more than constructing buildings; it is about creating opportunities, uplifting lives and fostering communities where people can thrive. I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute to Malaysia’s growth and to the broader ASEAN community,” Lim said in a statement today.

Lim, one of Malaysia’s prominent property entrepreneurs, has transformed LBS from a local construction company into a township developer with interests spanning residential, commercial, industrial, hospitality, retail, tourism and renewable energy sectors.

Under his stewardship, LBS has delivered more than 58,000 homes and established communities that have positively impacted more than 200,000 Malaysians.

Guided by its purpose of “Building Tomorrow Together”, the group continues to pursue innovation, sustainability and customer-centric development while expanding into strategic growth sectors to create long-term value for stakeholders.

LBS said the award reaffirmed its commitment to carrying forward Lim’s vision of building sustainable communities and contributing to Malaysia’s development as well as the wider ASEAN region.

The event honoured leaders whose influence has strengthened economic ties and promoted shared prosperity in the region, with Lim’s commitment to responsible business practices and community development reflecting those values.
