Five Malaysian Firms To Seal Close To RM2 Bln Deals

PUTRAJAYA, Feb 11 (Bernama) -- Five Malaysian companies are set to finalise business deals worth close to RM2 billion at the Makkah Halal Forum 2026 in Saudi Arabia, held from Feb 14 to 16, underscoring growing halal trade ties between Malaysia and the Middle East.

The five companies are Jaman Tory Group Sdn Bhd, A&A Empire Sdn Bhd (Bokitta), Agro 19 Bhd, Ramly Food Processing Sdn Bhd, and Ayamas Integrated Poultry Industry Sdn Bhd.

In a statement, the Ministry of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives (KUSKOP) said that the ministry, through Bank Rakyat, implemented a mentoring and business facilitation programme to match Malaysian companies with export markets, leading to potential sales of nearly RM2 billion at the forum.

“These five companies are also existing customers within Bank Rakyat’s ecosystem and were selected based on their export readiness and international growth potential,” the ministry added.

KUSKOP Minister, Steven Sim said that Saudi Arabia, which receives around 30 million international visitors annually, is a strategic market and an important gateway for introducing Malaysian products and brands to the global community, particularly within the rapidly growing halal ecosystem.

The ministry added that as an agency under KUSKOP, Bank Rakyat has been supporting the initiative by providing financing facilities to strengthen the financial capacity of participating companies to expand their business into the Middle East market.
