FBM KLCI Futures Close Firmer

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 2 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended firmer on Thursday.

At the close, November 2025 and December 2025 contracts gained 9.5 points each to 1,631.50 and 1,628, respectively.

October 2025 rose 8.5 points to 1,632, and March 2026 surged 12.5 points to 1,608.

Turnover increased to 9,453 lots from 7,201 on Wednesday, while open interest widened to 47,487 contracts from 43,511 yesterday.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI jumped 16.93 points, or 1.04 per cent, to 1,637.80, compared with Wednesday’s close of 1,620.87.
