FBM KLCI Futures Open Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 1 (Bernama) -- FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives opened higher on Wednesday.

At 9.22 am, the new spot-month October 2025 contract and November 2025 contract added 6.5 points each to 1,619.50.

The December 2025 contract increased 7.0 points to 1,613.00, while March 2026 rose 8.0 points to 1,594.50.

Turnover stood at 2,822 lots, with open interest at 40,605 contracts.

The benchmark FBM KLCI increased 5.08 points to 1,616.96 after 40 minutes of trading, compared with Tuesday's close of 1,611.88.
