Destini Secures RM403.75 Mln Contract Extension From Defence Ministry

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 18 (Bernama) -- Destini Bhd's unit, Destini Prima Sdn Bhd (DPSB), has received a letter of award for an extended contract from the Ministry of Defence.

The contract entails the supply of non-proprietary aircraft spare parts for the Royal Malaysian Air Force, and the value of the contract remains at RM403.75 million (combined ceiling with the other 29 contractors),  Destini said in a Bursa Malaysia filing today.

“The tenure of the contract, which expired on June 30, 2025, has been extended for another 18 months, from July 1, 2025 to Dec 31, 2026,” said Destini, which is a diversified industrial group.

DPSB is required to provide a performance bond when receiving orders from the government, where the performance bond shall amount to 2.5 per cent for orders more than RM200,000 and 5.0 per cent for orders more than RM500,000.
