KLCI Futures Close Mixed, Tracking Cash Market Performance

KUALA LUMPUR, June 11 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended mixed today, reflecting the performance of the underlying cash market.

The June 2026 contract was unchanged at 1,678; the July 2026 and December 2026 contracts added one point each to 1,680.5 and 1,662.0, respectively, while September 2026 fell 1.5 points to 1,661.0.

Turnover dwindled to 7,499 lots from 9,044 lots on Wednesday, while open interest declined to 33,810 contracts from 35,238 contracts previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI was slightly higher, rising 0.57 points to 1,679.53 from Wednesday’s close of 1,678.96.
