Econpile Secures RM53.99 Mln Penang LRT Construction Project

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 8 (Bernama) -- Econpile Holdings Bhd’s (Econpile) wholly owned subsidiary, Econpile (M) Sdn Bhd, has secured a RM53.99 million Penang LRT construction project.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, Econpile said a letter of award was received from Gamuda Geo Sdn Bhd for bored piling construction and associated works from Komtar to East Jelutong as part of the LRT Penang - Mutiara Line - Package CMC1.

Econpile stated that the project will commence on Oct 1, 2025, with practical completion scheduled for April 30, 2027.

“The project is expected to contribute positively to the company’s revenue and earnings from the financial year ending June 30, 2026, onwards,” it added.
