FBM KLCI Futures Open Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 18 (Bernama) -- FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives opened higher today.

At 9.25 am, the spot month August 2025 contract increased 6.0 points to 1,583.0, September 2025 went up 3.50 points to 1,559.50, December 2025 added 5.0 points to 1,560.50 and March 2026 rose 5.50 points to 1,545.5.

Turnover stood at 820 lots, with open interest at 39,983 contracts.

The benchmark FBM KLCI improved 3.44 points to 1,579.78 after 25 minutes of trading, compared with last week’s close of 1,576.34.
