FBM KLCI Futures Open Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, July 16 (Bernama) -- FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives opened lower today.

At 9.35 am, the spot month July 2025 contract eased 1.5 points to 1,521.50, August 2025 fell 1.0 point to 1,520.0, September 2025 remained unchanged at 1,502.50, and December 2025 shed 3.0 points to 1,499.0.

Turnover stood at 1,141 lots, with open interest at 36,006 contracts.

At 9.43 am, the FBM KLCI inched down 0.43 of a point to 1,524.97 from Tuesday’s close of 1,525.40.
