FBM KLCI Futures Close Mostly Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, July 4 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended mostly higher today, tracking the underlying cash market’s performance.

At the close, the spot month July 2025 contract rose 3.0 points to 1,549.50, August 2025 gained 4.0 points to 1,547.50, while September 2025 decreased 15 points to 1,528.5 and December 2025 advanced 3.5 points to 1,527.5.

Turnover narrowed to 3,001 lots from 7,039 on Thursday, while open interest slipped to 34,783 contracts from 39,173 previously.

At 5 pm, the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) gained 1.20 points, or 0.08 per cent, to 1,550.19 from Thursday’s close of 1,548.99.
