Altimetrik To Acquire SLK Software, Bolstering AI And Digital Engineering Capabilities

KUALA LUMPUR, June 30 (Bernama) -- Altimetrik, a pure-play artificial intelligence (AI), data, and digital engineering solutions company, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire SLK Software (SLK), a global technology services firm specialising in AI, intelligence automation, and analytics solutions.

The acquisition, expected to close in the second half of 2025 pending customary regulatory approvals, aims to accelerate Altimetrik’s growth towards its US$1 billion annual revenue goal. Financial terms were not disclosed. (US$1=RM4.21)

In a statement, Altimetrik Chief Executive Officer, Raj Sundaresan said this is a strategic investment to support the company’s vision of enabling AI-first businesses.

“Our investment in SLK reflects our intention to deepen our commitment to customers who are looking for digital, AI-driven solutions that enable business value creation at unparalleled speed and scale,” he said.

Meanwhile, SLK Founder and Chairman, Parth Amin said: “This is not just an integration — it is a strategic acceleration. Together, we will bring more innovation, speed, and client impact.”

Industry leaders lauded the acquisition as a pivotal move. The merger will combine Altimetrik’s AI-first, platform-native engineering model with SLK’s comprehensive technology services, significantly enhancing capabilities in digital transformation, data modernisation, and enterprise platform engineering.

The combined entity will serve over 150 global enterprises, including Fortune 500 firms, and maintain a workforce of more than 10,000 professionals. The partnership ecosystem will also be expanded, leveraging collaborations with OpenAI, Amazon Web Services, Snowflake, and Databricks.

Exclusive financial advisors to the deal include Avendus Capital for SLK, while Ernst & Young for Altimetrik and TPG.
