FBM KLCI Futures End Weaker
KUALA LUMPUR, May 30 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended weaker today, in tandem with the negative performance of the underlying cash market.
At the close, May 2025 fell 4.5 points to 1,515.5, June 2025 slipped 19 points to 1,496.0, September 2025 lost 20 points to 1,479.0, and December 2025 dipped 21 points to 1,483.5.
Turnover reduced to 17,268 lots from 21,038 lots on Thursday, while open interest fell to 50,960 contracts compared to 53,002 contracts previously.
At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI slipped 10.63 points, or 0.70 per cent, to 1,508.35 from Thursday’s close of 1,518.98.
