FBM KLCI Futures End Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, May 14 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed higher in line with the underlying cash market’s performance.

At the close, May 2025 and June 2025 contracts increased 8.0 points to 1,581.0 and 1,580.5 respectively, September 2025 advanced 9.0 points to 1,565.0 and December 2025 added 11 points to 1,576.0.

Turnover improved to 9,957 lots from 9,618 lots on Tuesday, while open interest was slightly higher at 42,654 contracts against 42,519 contracts previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI rose 1.12 points, or 0.07 per cent, to 1,583.51 compared to Tuesday’s close of 1,582.39.
