FBM KLCI Futures Close Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, May 6 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed lower in line with the easier cash market performance.

May 2025 and June 2025 dropped by 4.0 points each to 1,535.00 and 1,530.00, respectively, September 2025 fell 3.5 points to 1,513.00, and December 2025 slipped 2.0 points to 1,525.50.

Turnover edged up to 5,790 lots from 5,618 lots on Monday, while open interest slid to 38,699 contracts from 38,851 previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI declined by 0.18 per cent, or 2.74 points, to 1,536.80 from yesterday’s close of 1,539.54
