The Exchange Asia And ESGAM Sign MoU To Launch ESG PLUS 2025

KUALA LUMPUR, April 16 (Bernama) – The Exchange Asia, through Magnate Media Sdn Bhd, today signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the ESG Association Malaysia (ESGAM) to strengthen the credibility of the ESG PLUS Awards as a regional platform that adheres to international environmental, social, and governance (ESG) standards.

The ESG PLUS Awards 2025 aim to recognise outstanding leadership and innovation in ESG aspects.

Magnate Media director Jasmine Cheung said the collaboration is not just a partnership, but a commitment to accountability, inclusivity, and long-term impact across Asia.

“Through ESG PLUS, we aim not only to provide recognition but to create a platform that challenges organisations to lead responsibly, engage meaningfully, and grow sustainably.

“With ESGAM as a strategic partner, we are confident in shaping a stronger ESG discourse in the region,” she said in a joint statement today.

ESGAM president Adjunct Professor Cheah Kok Hoong said ESG recognition is not just about accolades, but a call to action and continuous improvement.

“The ESG PLUS Awards provide a vital platform for benchmarking, learning, and inspiration across industries.

“ESGAM is proud to contribute our collective expertise to ensure the highest standards of integrity and impact are upheld,” he said.

The ESG PLUS Awards are open to various categories of participants, including publicly listed companies, corporates, government-linked companies, non-governmental organisations, small and medium enterprises, startups, regional ESG initiatives, and individuals active in ESG practices, the statement said.

For listed companies and corporate organisations, participation in the ESG PLUS Awards offers a unique opportunity to showcase real ESG leadership beyond mere compliance.

“It also serves as a valuable platform to demonstrate measurable impact, share ESG success stories, and strengthen reputation as responsible and forward-thinking organisations.

“Through transparent assessment and broad media coverage, the ESG PLUS Awards allow organisations to share their ESG narratives authentically, celebrate progress, and drive collective action across industries,” it said.

Nominations for the ESG PLUS Awards 2025 are now open, with the awards gala night scheduled to be held in September 2025, the statement added.
