FBM KLCI Futures Close Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, April 11 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended lower on Friday, tracking the softer underlying cash market performance.

At the close, the April 2025 contract fell 14.0 points to 1,448.0, May 2025 dropped 13.5 points to 1,446.5, June 2025 trimmed 13.0 points to 1,443.0, and September 2025 shed 12.5 points to 1,430.0.

Turnover fell to 11,855 lots from 13,840 lots yesterday, while open interest shrank to 47,008 contracts against 50,029 contracts previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI declined 8.37 points, or 0.57 per cent, to 1,454.76 from Thursday’s close of 1,463.13.
