KUALA LUMPUR, April 30 (Bernama) -- The Malaysian Rubber Board (MRB) announced that the Rubber Production Incentive (IPG) for cuplump and latex has not been activated for April 2026 in Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah, and Sarawak.

In a statement, MRB said the IPG would be activated if the average monthly farmgate price for cuplump rubber is at RM3.00 per kilogramme (kg) or below, and the IPG for latex would be activated simultaneously with the activation of the IPG for cuplump.

The IPG rate for latex is fixed at 90 sen per kg for latex with 100 per cent dry rubber content.

According to MRB, the average price of cuplump in Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah, and Sarawak in April was at RM3.45, RM3.15, and RM3.00 per kg, respectively; hence, no IPG payment will be made for this month.
