PTT Synergy To Establish Perpetual Sukuk Wakalah Programme Of Up To RM500 Mln
KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 31 (Bernama) -- PTT Synergy Group Bhd has announced the establishment of a Perpetual Sukuk Wakalah Programme of up to RM500 million in nominal value.
The programme, with a perpetual tenure, allows the company the flexibility to issue sukuk periodically, provided the total outstanding nominal value does not exceed RM500 million at any given time.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, the company said that the proceeds from the issuance will be allocated for Shariah-compliant purposes, including capital expenditure, general corporate needs, refinancing of existing financing, working capital, and covering fees and expenses related to the sukuk.
AmInvestment Bank Bhd has been appointed as the principal adviser, lead arranger, lead manager, and facility agent for the Perpetual Sukuk Wakalah Programme.
Additionally, AmBank Islamic Bhd will serve as the sole Shariah adviser for the programme.
