FBM KLCI Futures Ends Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 24 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended higher today, tracking the underlying cash market’s performance.

At the close, the December 2024 contract rose 6.5 points to 1,596.5, January 2025 and March 2025 increased 7.0 points each to 1,601.5 and 1,585.0, respectively, and June 2025 added 5.0 points to 1,590.5.

Turnover improved to 14,024 lots from 11,341 lots yesterday while open interest widened to 53,432 contracts against 48,085 contracts previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI rose 6.79 points, or 0.43 per cent, to 1,602.99 compared with Monday's close of 1,596.20.

Bursa Malaysia Bhd and its subsidiaries will be closed tomorrow, Dec 25, in conjunction with Christmas.
