WASHINGTON, May 18 (Bernama-Sputnik/RIA Novosti) -- United States (US) President Donald Trump published images on his social media, likely generated by artificial intelligence, showing him walking with a grey humanoid creature resembling an alien and directing military operations in space, reported Sputnik/RIA Novosti.
In the first image, which appears to be AI-generated, Trump is walking next to a humanoid resembling the traditional pop-culture image of an alien, with its arms and legs shackled.
He is surrounded by several special agents and a US military officer.
The setting is a mountainous area, possibly a reference to Area 51 in Nevada, where, according to popular conspiracy theories, US intelligence services are alleged to have studied alien beings.
The galactic epic continues in other publications. The next image depicts the US leader on a space station, with Planet Earth visible in the background.
Another AI-generated image shows Trump on a spacecraft pressing a red button, while screens behind him show five explosions in different parts of the universe.
On May 8, US authorities began releasing files about unidentified flying objects (UFOs) promised by Trump. Dozens of photos, videos and witness statements have been released.
The Pentagon said that it would publish new UFO documents every few weeks.
Earlier, the US Department of Defence requested more than a doubling of the US Space Force budget in fiscal year 2027, citing the need to maintain combat readiness in space.
Space-based weapons systems are also expected to become part of the Golden Dome missile defence system being developed by Washington.
Russia’s Permanent Representative to the UN in Geneva, Gennady Gatilov, previously said that the Golden Dome project threatened to spark an arms race in space and undermine global strategic stability.
