KUALA LUMPUR, May 11 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed higher on Monday, despite the weaker performance in the cash market.
The May 2026 contract rose 4.5 points to 1,754.0, June 2026 increased 4.0 points to 1,753.0, September 2026 added 2.5 points to 1,732.0, and the December 2026 contract gained 4.0 points to 1,736.0.
Turnover fell to 5,725 lots from 6,123 lots last Friday, while open interest slipped to 37,891 contracts from 38,616 contracts previously.
At 5 pm, the benchmark FBM KLCI eased 2.75 points to 1,745.31 from Friday’s close of 1,748.06.
