KOTA KINABALU, May 11 (Bernama) -- Tengku Mahkota Pahang, Tengku Hassanal Ibrahim Alam Shah Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah arrived at Kota Kinabalu, Sabah at 1.40 pm today to lead the Mahkota Borneo Expedition scheduled from today till Wednesday.
Sabah Youth Development, Sports and Creative Economy Minister Datuk Nizam Abu Bakar Titingan greeted Tengku Hassanal upon his arrival at Kota Kinabalu International Airport 2 (KKIA2).
Tengku Hassanal is scheduled to meet Yang Dipertua Negeri Sabah Tun Musa Aman at Istana Seri Kinabalu here, and is expected to leave for Kundasang at about 3 pm.
Tengku Hassanal also welcomed Sabahans who wished to meet him to wait along the route he would take to Kundasang.
His Highness will climb Mount Kinabalu tomorrow, escorted by Royal Malaysian Air Force special team officers and personnel and his personal escort from the Royal Malaysia Police.
