AMSTERDAM, April 29 (Bernama-dpa) -- Airbus reported a drop in revenue to €12.65 billion (US$14.81 billion) in the first quarter of 2026, down from €13.54 billion in the first quarter of 2025, German Press Agency (dpa) reported.
The European aerospace and defence manufacturing company announced its financial results on Tuesday.
Net income declined to €586 million from €793 million in the prior-year quarter. Earnings per share fell to €0.74, from €1.01 in the same period last year.
The company's profit for the period totalled €551 million, compared with €745 million in the prior-year period. Earnings Before Interest and Taxes (EBIT) dropped to €224 million from €473 million year-on-year.
