MAKKAH, March 17 (Bernama-SPA) -- The Presidency for Religious Affairs at the Grand and Prophet’s Mosques has stepped up spiritual and organisational preparations at the Grand Mosque for Quran completion during Tarawih prayers in the final days of Ramadan, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
The preparations are part of the presidency’s comprehensive programme of religious guidance and awareness aimed at creating a worship-focused environment for Grand Mosque visitors amid the high attendance during the last ten days of this holy month.
Across the Grand Mosque and its courtyards, the presidency is enhancing its religious guidance system through multilingual awareness messages and programmes that encourage worshippers to follow proper religious and organisational guidelines during prayers.
The objective of this approach is to maintain tranquillity among worshippers and ensure smooth movement across the mosque.
The presidency has deployed a large number of religious guides and translators at guidance-dedicated sites to assist visitors and answer their questions in several languages, amidst the diverse nationalities of pilgrims and visitors during the blessed month.
To reach as many visitors as possible, the presidency has activated a comprehensive system of guidance messages on electronic screens throughout the mosque and its courtyards. Educational content is also shared through online platforms and mobile applications, helping deliver guidance and advisory messages.
During the final ten days of Ramadan, the Grand Mosque experiences extremely high attendance. Authorities work in coordination to manage crowds, organise entry and exit flows, and facilitate movement within the mosque and its courtyards.
This integrated operational system ensures that millions of worshippers can safely and smoothly perform prayers during these blessed days.
