NEW YORK, March 14 (Bernama-Xinhua) -- Oil prices climbed on Friday, reported Xinhua.
The West Texas Intermediate for April delivery added US$2.98, or 3.11 per cent, to settle at US$98.71 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
Brent crude for May delivery gained US$2.68, or 2.67 per cent, to settle at US$103.14 a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
