ZELENSKYY IMPOSES SANCTIONS AGAINST BELARUSIAN PRESIDENT LUKASHENKO

MOSCOW, Feb 18 (Bernama-Sputnik/RIA Novosti) — Volodymyr Zelenskyy has imposed sanctions against President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, according to the relevant decree released by Zelenskyy's office on Wednesday, reported Sputnik/RIA Novosti.

“To put into effect the decision of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine dated February 18, 2026 'On the application of personal special economic and other restrictive measures' (attached)," the decree read.

The annexe to the decree clarifies that sanctions are being imposed against Lukashenko.

Kyiv's sanctions against Lukashenko include asset blocking for 10 years.
