KUALA NERUS, Dec 26 (Bernama) -- Terengganu FC (TFC) interim head coach Tengku Hazman Raja Hassan is determined to turn around the team’s performances in the 2025/2026 Malaysia League (M-League), with approximately six months still remaining in the season.
The Kelantan-born coach, who was appointed to replace Badrul Afzan Razali, said he was fully aware of the heavy responsibility he would shoulder in restoring the reputation of The Turtles squad.
However, the former Terengganu midfielder, who featured for the club in 2010, said he is determined to give his utmost to regain the trust and confidence of TFC supporters.
“This is a huge task, but I am taking on the responsibility with full commitment and will do my utmost to ensure TFC achieve positive results.
“To the supporters, I hope they will continue to give their support so that we can work together to rebuild TFC’s reputation at the top of the league,” he said when contacted by Bernama today.
The 48-year-old Tengku Hazman was appointed interim head coach yesterday to replace Badrul Afzan Razali, who was relieved of his duties following the team’s lacklustre performance this season.
He is no stranger to Terengganu football, having previously guided TFC II to a historic triumph by becoming the inaugural champions of the 2018 Challenge Cup after defeating UKM FC.
