ALOR SETAR, Oct 10 (Bernama) -- Floods in Kedah have eased after the last temporary evacuation centre (PPS) will be completely closed today.
Kedah Civil Defence Force (APM) deputy director Major (PA) Muhammad Suhaimi Mohd Zain said the Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Langgar PPS here, which has been open since last Sunday, will be completely closed at 2 pm this afternoon.
"All victims have been allowed to return to their respective homes and this PPS will be completely closed this evening," he said in a statement, today.
He said the closure of the PPS was in line with the initial notification issued by the Kota Setar District Disaster Management Committee, today.
