KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 17 (Bernama) -- FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives opened higher on Wednesday.
At 9.36 am, the September 2025 contract rose 11.5 points to 1,600.0, October 2025 and March 2026 advanced 12 points each to 1,596.50 and 1,572.5, respectively, while December 2025 added 12.5 points to 1,592.0.
Turnover stood at 2,059 lots, with open interest at 39,326 contracts.
The benchmark FBM KLCI edged up 0.62 of-a-point to 1,600.75 after 55 minutes of trading, compared with last Friday’s close of 1,600.13.
The local bourse and its subsidiaries were closed on Sept 15, following the additional public holiday declared in conjunction with Malaysia Day on Sept 16.
