The Korea International Cooperation Agency will invest RM42 million (US$9.9 million) over the next five years to train Lao civil servants in digital skills. This project aims to help Laos establish a strong foundation in the digital realm.

The China-Laos Railway is facilitating the export of Lao durians to Sichuan, China. As of August this year, over 150,000 tonnes of durian have been sent via railway, which has reduced costs and minimised fruit damage.
