1.ANGKOR EARNS RM131 MILLION FROM TOURISTS -- FRESH NEWS

Angkor Archaeological Park ticket sales reached RM131 million (US$31 million) in the first eight months. About 670,000 foreign tourists visited the ancient temple. The complex’s management donated RM5.5 million (US$1.3 million) to the Kantha Bopha Children’s Fund. 

 

2. MODERNISING CASHEW PLANTATION IN SIEM REAP -- AGENCE KAMPUCHEA PRESSE

Farmers in Siem Reap have embarked on a large-scale community-based cashew production. The cooperative will manage about 2,500 hectares of cashew plantation. Farmers will pool resources and expertise to make cashew market more competitive.
