KUALA LUMPUR, June 20 (Bernama) — Brunei’s Embassy in Tehran, Iran, has been temporarily closed due to the current situation in the country, according to a statement published Thursday on the official website of Brunei’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The closure takes effect immediately and will remain in place until a date to be announced later.
During this period, the Embassy’s operations will be conducted from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Brunei.
According to the statement, as of now, there are no registered Bruneian nationals in Iran, and all embassy officials and staff have safely departed from Tehran.
