KUALA LUMPUR, June 4 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed higher today, in line with the underlying cash market performance.
At the close, the spot month June 2025, September 2025, and December 2025 contracts were 7.0 points higher at 1,505.50, 1,486.50, and 1,491.50, respectively, and July 2025 rose 6.5 points to 1,503.00.
Turnover reduced to 4,096 lots from 7,931 lots on Tuesday, while open interest fell to 34,744 contracts compared to 38,949 contracts yesterday.
At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI rose 4.72 points, 0.31 per cent, to its intraday high of 1,507.97 from Tuesday’s close of 1,503.25.
