KUALA LUMPUR, April 27 (Bernama) -- A total of 200,000 job placements are being targeted this year through the nationwide MYFutureJobs Premium Job Carnival 2026 roadshow, Human Resources Minister Datuk Seri R. Ramanan said.
In a Facebook post, Ramanan said the initiative has already shown encouraging results, with more than 800 individuals securing employment during the two-day Premium Job Carnival held since last Saturday in conjunction with the 2026 Labour Day celebration at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.
“This is a highly encouraging achievement and reflects both employers’ confidence in the programme and the readiness of Malaysia’s workforce,” he said.
Ramanan added that the MYFutureJobs initiative would continue to be strengthened throughout the year as part of the government’s broader effort to connect job seekers with employment opportunities.
He said the programme would not be limited to Peninsular Malaysia, but would also be expanded to Sabah and Sarawak, ensuring more inclusive access to employment opportunities across the country.
