MINA, May 24 (Bernama-SPA) -- The Haj Security Forces Command for Traffic Affairs is intensifying its field efforts for the 1447 AH Haj season through the implementation of integrated traffic plans aimed at managing movement in Makkah and the holy sites, preventing unauthorised vehicles from entering, and facilitating the smooth transfer of pilgrims between Mina, Arafat, and Muzdalifah.

The traffic plans rely on a system of modern technologies and smart control mechanisms, supported by trained security personnel who monitor traffic flow on the ground and address any potential congestion, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

These measures contribute to improving mobility efficiency and ensuring the safety of pilgrims.

Preparations also include regulating vehicle permits for entry into the holy sites during designated periods, directing authorised vehicles along precise routes, allocating lanes for buses to ensure their arrival according to approved schedules between the sites, and managing stop stations with high efficiency.
