Pakatan Harapan Convention 2026 In Johor On May 17

KUALA LUMPUR, May 8 (Bernama) -- Pakatan Harapan (PH) will hold the Pakatan Harapan 2026 Convention themed "Tekad Madani, Harapan Rakyat" at Persada Johor International Convention Centre, Johor Bahru on May 17.

According to a joint statement of the coalition leadership, the convention, which will take place from 8 am to 6 pm, will serve as a platform to strengthen leadership and organisational cohesion, coordinate political work and detail PH's direction in facing the country's current challenges.

"As the leader of the MADANI Government, PH continues to focus on strengthening the country's economy, political stability and people's confidence ahead of the state elections and the 16th general election (GE16)," the statement said.

According to the statement, Prime Minister and PH chairman Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is scheduled to deliver a special message to delegates at the convention.

Also scheduled to attend are the coalition's key leaders to strengthen unity and readiness to face current political challenges.

The PH Convention was last held in 2022 and the reorganisation of the programme reflects the coalition's continued commitment to strengthening the organisation, empowering the reform agenda and ensuring that the aspirations of the MADANI Government continue to be implemented in the interests of the people.
