KUALA LUMPUR, April 17 (Bernama) -- A total of 224 physical construction projects, valued at RM9.55 billion, are being implemented across Pahang this year, covering both pre-construction and active construction phases, said Works Minister Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi.

He said that, of the total, 123 projects worth RM3.87 billion were at the pre-construction stage, while another 101 projects, valued at RM5.68 billion, were in the construction phase.

“The Works Ministry (KKR) will continue to strengthen cooperation with the Pahang state government to expedite project implementation, resolve emerging issues more effectively, and ensure development benefits reach the people,” he said in a Facebook post today.

Nanta said these were among matters discussed during a courtesy call from Pahang Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail and his delegation at KKR today.

He said the meeting also provided an opportunity for both parties to review the implementation of people-centric projects, particularly those involving basic infrastructure, public facilities and community well-being in Pahang.

Nanta added that KKR remained committed to ensuring that each project was implemented in a planned manner, closely monitored, and completed according to priority for the benefit of the people in Pahang.
