Sinar Syawal MADANI Brings Aidilfitri Joy To 3,000 Recipients In Kuantan

KUANTAN, March 13 (Bernama) -- A total of 3,000 people received Hari Raya clothing vouchers worth RM200 each through the Sinar Syawal MADANI programme for the Indera Mahkota and Kuantan parliamentary constituencies.

Datuk Ahmad Farhan Fauzi, the political secretary to the Prime Minister, posted on Facebook that the aid was presented on behalf of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to help ease the burden of Aidilfitri preparations among those in need.

“The recipients included secondary and primary school students from asnaf families, orphans, maahad tahfiz students, as well as single mothers and underprivileged families,” he said.

Ahmad Farhan also expressed hope that similar initiatives would continue to be held to bring joy to recipients ahead of the coming Aidilfitri celebration.

The programme, held at Jakel Kuantan, was also attended by Pahang Education Department deputy director (Student Development Sector) Azaha Awang, Kuantan district education officer Shaiful-Azizi Sukri Mohd Kassim, Jakel Kuantan director Suhaimi Abdul Aziz and Ribath Al Musthofa Kuantan Education principal Ustaz Uwais Al-Qarni Abdul Wahab.
