KLCI Futures End Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, March 6 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended lower on Friday. 

At the close, March 2026 and April 2026 fell 6.5 points each to 1,690.5 and 1,693.0, respectively, while June 2026 declined 7.0 points to 1,693.5 and September 2026 shed 2.0 points to 1,677.0. 

Turnover eased to 6,470 lots from 8,706 lots on Thursday, while open interest slipped to 41,869 contracts from 44,227 contracts yesterday. 

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI gained 4.86 points, or 0.28 per cent, to end at 1,718.06 from Thursday’s close of 1,713.20.
