JKNS Railbus Accident In Tenom To Be Tabled In Sabah Cabinet Meeting Next Week - Ewon

KOTA KINABALU, March 5 (Bernama) -- The Sabah Ministry of Industrial Development, Entrepreneurship and Transport (MINDET) will present a report on the incident involving a Sabah State Railways Department (JKNS) railbus and a motor trolley at KM134/4 Pangi, Tenom at the Sabah Cabinet meeting next week.

Deputy Chief Minister III and Sabah Minister of Industrial Development, Entrepreneurship and Transport Datuk Ewon Benedick said that following the incident that occurred on March 3, he had requested a report from JKNS.

"The initial investigation report has been given to me and the report has also been extended to the Sabah Chief Minister's Office today.

"I will present this investigation report at the Sabah Cabinet meeting on March 11 next week," he said in a statement today.

According to Ewon, the presentation of the report is aimed at informing the Sabah Cabinet of Ministers of the progress of the investigation as well as determining the appropriate follow-up action regarding the incident.
